I am thinking about it. Would enjoy to have some feedback from anyone who has tried it.

My digestive program slowed down drastically right after I moved from the tropics to Chicago and acupuncture definitely sped it back up again!
Also, a excellent tip: it can be a bit pricey, so if you can locate a school, it’s generally way more affordable and they’re really genuinely great. They are also supervised at all times so it is 100% safe.

I haven’t used it for weight loss myself, but I have had acupuncture over 40 treatments. I used it for pain and energy. It also had other positive effects I wasn’t expecting. It gave me runner’s high, so I was feeling impervious to life’s challenges after just 10 treatments. My acupuncturists both told me they had had success with weight loss. Be sure to ask how many treatment might you exxpect to have for results, and if you will need to return for “maintenance” treatments.
Also, ask if you will need the deep-tissue acupuncture, or the less-deep kind. I had the deep tissue kind for pain and muscle relaxation because I have fibromyalgia and it can make my muscles very, very tight. It was the painful form, but it did the job, so I didn’t care if it hurt.
I have heard alot of good about acupunture, I am considering it myself. A friend of my who used to be a hardcore chain-smoker, got talked into getting acupunture for stopping smoking and it worked on her against everybodys expectations! I was so amazed. I don’t see why it would not work on you too
Ya, I think if someone threatened to stick sharp pins into me I’d stop eating.
No. Weight loss is a simple input and output balance, if you want to lose weight, you need to combine a healthy reduced calorie diet with daily vigorous exercise. Less in, more out.
Now acupuncture has no proven mechanism to work, and there is no reason why sticking pins in the body would increase metabolism. There are no quick fixes to weight loss, you need to accept this, put your fork down and get out the house and do more.
