I want to start the hcg diet but i’m not sure where i can find real hcg drops, i’ve read that there are a lot of online companies selling fake drops.

The hcg diet is a scam because HCG does nothing for fat loss. It was a scam from the get go and doesn’t work any more than the other junk on the market like acai or green tea. Even if you manage to lose some weight from the diet alone you will only gain rebound fat because you’ve done nothing to change your eating habits. That will lead to yo-yo’ing until you finally learn that diets don’t work and the only way to lose fat and keep it gone is to make a lifetime commitment to proper eating habits. After all, staying slim only gets more difficult with age. So, you may as well make that commitment now and establish proper eating habits instead of trying an easy way that doesn’t work.

Check the following excerpts from the US National Institute of Health…the place where the doctors get their information regarding health research. And, if you can’t bring yourself to believe the science, visit your physician and find out for yourself. You’ll be wise to ignore the random strangers of unknown credibility with no references or citations who are simply credulous believers incapable of recognizing their own placebo effect.

I have recently started taking the HCG drops to lose some weight, i also have the Inplanon B/C i was told that the drops were ok to take and not the injections but i want to know if the HCG can counter act my B/C because the Inplanon took my period away and now i’m spotting and feeling like i’m going to be getting my period soon.

If you will read the label on the drops closely you will see they do not contain any hcg. Hcg can only be prescribed by a doctor and a loophole in the law currently allows doctors to prescribe restricted medications for purposes other than their approved use.
You are obviously aware that hcg is only approved for increasing fertility and not weight loss. The ineffective drops will not affect your birth control.
If you are able to actually stay on a dangerously low calorie diet of 500 calories you will in fact interrupt your cycles. This is a normal defense mechanism of the female body when being threatened with starvation, the signal your body is perceiving.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Most people that attempt this diet become so grouchy and moody that they or their partners lose any sex drive.
Try a high fiber diet of healthy whole foods after you get past the hcg foolishness.

Is there anyone with experience with both prescription AND homeopathic hCG diet drops? What’s the difference?

Question by : Is there anyone with experience with both prescription AND homeopathic hCG diet drops? What’s the difference?
I study hCG clinically here in Canada and have found similar results with both. I find that what makes the biggest difference is how often that you take hCG. Whether the hCG is prescription or homeopathic didn’t seem to make a difference.

I also find that the prescription drops yield more weight loss than prescription injections.
What are your findings?

I’m starting the HCG drops this week and I want to be able to work out. Some cardio and some light lifting. Should I raise my calories intake to accommodate this. Is there some sort of “hybrid” HCG diet that will allow working out.

On that 500 calorie a day regime (which is what actually leads to the weight loss) you won’t have the strength to work out.
There is no medical proof that HCG aids weight loss.
500-calories per day is severely restrictive! In fact, it is not enough calories to support normal brain function. Your body will compensate by using stores of glycogen, protein (muscle) and some fat, which lowers your resting metabolism. Before you can lose true weight, you will be so irritable, lightheaded, and cranky that you’ll reach for whatever food you can get your hands on and have a field day.

There is no scientific evidence supporting HCG as a weight loss strategy. The FDA has required all marketing and advertising of HCG to state the following: “HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or ‘normal’ distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.”

Because HCG is a peptide hormone, it would be broken down by the stomach and rendered ineffective, he says. He says the products are mostly sold over the Internet, so it’s difficult to track sales.
