I’m 14 and today is the day I begin my weight loss plan. I know that you have to exercise to lose weight, and I’ve heard you have to exercise to keep it off. But I’m confused, how can you do that without losing MORE weight after you’ve reached your goal? I don’t want to gain it all back, but I don’t want to be anorexic.

once you get to a weight level that your happy with, they key is use the same number of calories that you take in. If you are exercising, then you can eat more, but you don’t have to exercise in order to maintain your weight. That said, everyone I know that’s been successful in keeping off weight has continued to exercise regularly. Think 30 minutes, 2-3 times per week. It’s not a bog time commitment, but it will have long lasting benefits.

Most likely 1 pound a week if you exercise for an hour a day maybe 2 pounds a week. YES the weight will stay off if you make that lifestyle change.

DId you measure yourself before dieting. You could be gaining muscle but losing inches. Change up your routine. If you are eating proper portions and doing everything right, maybe you are eating to
much of the same every day. Continue exercising and drink lots of water and continue eating healthy.
